Portobello
Portobello has two shops, one located right next to Koh Chang Kacha Resort & Spa, the other opposite the same resort. These chic little stores stand out from the rest of the crowd with their huge glowing neon sign. The shops feature hand-crafted, unique table and floor lamps as well as costume jewellery made from silver, precious and semi-precious gem stones - definitely worth a browse.

If you're looking for something exotic to decorate your home, look no further than Prince Craft Centre. Located opposite the Grand View Resort in White Sand Beach, the shop houses world-famous carpets, antique rugs, Pashmina shawls, cushions and many more.

Shopping in Klong Prao Beach
Klong Prao Beach has three villages - each with its own shopping plaza. The three villages are Bann Chai Chet (in the north end of the beach), Baan Klong Prao (the original main village located in the middle) and Baan Map Khangkhao (in the south end). You'll find local the usual assortment of small shops, bars, restaurants, convenient stores, banks, tailors, tour agents, massage places as well as local facilities like temples, schools and clinics.

What to buy in Klong Prao Beach
Beach essentials like sunglasses, bikinis, shorts, sarongs, towels and sunscreen are among the things you can buy from the shops in Klong Prao Beach. Paintings, handicrafts, trinkets and other Koh Chang souvenirs are also on sale. Need a new material for your beach read? Not a problem. Some shops sometimes stock papers, used books and paperbacks and are usually available in major languages like English, French, and German. In addition, a number of convenient stores carry a great supply of local and imported snacks, drinks and food.

Where to buy in Klong Prao Beach
Sporadic local shops selling an assortment of things - from the usual drinks and snacks to all sorts of beach gears - lie scattered along the main road of Klong Prao Beach. A concentration of small shops can also be found in the three villages of Baan Chai Chet, Baan Klong Prao and Baan Map Khangkhao. Conveniently located in these villages are mini plazas housing shops, banks, restaurants and other conveniences. The most notable is VJ Plaza, situated in Ban Chaichet in the north end of Klong Prao Beach. This is where Koh Chang's largest supermarket and a few other shops are located.

Although shopping on Kai Bae Beach can be somewhat very limited, it still offers some interesting items not found anywhere in Thailand (like T-shirts with the word 'Koh Chang' on it). Shops are located close together along the beach's main road. An easy stroll along the road will find you small shops one after another. Shops on every beach are pretty much the same so don't expect much variety other than the usual mix of souvenirs, beachwear, Thai paintings, CDs and DVDs and sunglasses. Trinket (handmade accessories and scarves, among others) sellers usually roam the beach and displaying their products right in front of your resort's beachfront area.

What to buy in Kai Bea Beach
If you're into locally-made souvenirs or knick-knacks, Kai Bae Beach is a heaven for you. You'll find, flanking the main road, jewel accessories, paintings depicting life of Buddha and his several poses, scarves, woodwork, used books, beach clothing and sunglasses, among others. CDs and DVDs are increasingly becoming popular items to buy and can be found on sale here as well.

Where to buy in Kai Bea Beach
Since the beach is relatively small and walking from the beginning to the end of the beach is easily accomplishable, finding a place to do your shopping is a breezy affair. Most shops don't have a name so just take a look at what's being displayed and then go from there. Walk towards the southern end of the beach and you're likely to find small shops selling all kinds of interesting items. Kai Bae Beach is also home to Speedo and BSC (a brand of swimming suits) outlets and many convenient store selling everything from sun lotion to Thai-style instant noodle. Some has a nice collection of new and used paperbacks available in different languages.

Shopping in Lonely Beach
Although shopping is not what usually attracts visitors to Lonely Beach, it still makes a great pastime activity. Put your bargaining skill to the test with the locals at the many shops found dotted the area. Alternatively, head to the souvenir centre in Bangbao Village, located further south of the beach, for a more extensive range of things to buy from beach gears like shorts, bikinis, sandals, the usual mix of knick-knacks like handmade necklaces, accessories, scarves and Koh Chang souvenirs to foodstuff like dried seafood and local snacks.

What to buy in Lonely Beach
Don't expect much else other than the usual assortment of beachwear, all kinds and styles of sunglasses and sandals including the imitated version of the famous 'Croc', tailors, paintings, batiks, Thai crafts, Koh Chang souvenirs, T-shirts with quirky writing on them. Dried seafood products are also one of the beach's most popular items to buy

Where to shop in Lonely Beach
Like other areas of Koh Chang, the majority of shops can be found alongside the main road, alternating with a host of restaurants, motorbike rentals, grocery stores and massage places. Since the beach is relatively small, a casual stroll along the main road is highly recommended, and you're likely to find whatever that you're looking for that way. Hardcore shoppers will be delighted if they head a little further south to the souvenir market in Bangbao Village, where a complete collection of cheap beachwear, jewel accessories, sandals, t-shirts, paintings, batiks, scarves, handmade Thai crafts, silk, seafood products and much more are on offer under one roof.
